Colorado Aerospace Education Teacher Workshop This program was created in recognition that the Primary and Middle School Program needed some reinforcement in the classroom for the Fantasy activities to have any lasting effect. The teacher workshops are designed to provide teachers with learning experiences and tools they can bring back to the classroom to support that objective. Patterned after the CACE program, the teacher workshop is an intensive one-week schedule of classroom activities and field trips. Two days of the 1999 workshop featured presentation by NASA including featured speaker Marta Bohn Meyer, Deputy Director of Operations, NASA/Edwards Air Force Base. As with the Primary and Middle School Program and the CACE Program, the Teacher Workshops are held at the Museum because of exceptional classroom facilities, an outstanding display of aviation exhibits, and the Museum's demonstrated support in furthering education. | |||
